I took the week between Christmas and New Years off, so Phil and I took Avery to COSI. She loved Kidspace. She played in the water zone, jumped on the mats and bean bags, went down the slides and played with the puppets. We got her a family membership so we can go back and check out the rest of the exhibits.

On her birthday we took her to see Santa at the zoo she really didnt think too much of him, but did really enjoyed the animal exhibits and the carosel. We were about the only people at the zoo since it was sleeting and snowing. But we still had fun.

Avery hasn't taken any first steps by herself, but is doing great when she uses a push cart. We tease her and tell her she reminds us of Great Grandma with her walker.
Avery got a wagon for Christmas and she just loves it! She got all her cousins to give her wagon rides all day on Christmas and the day after. Now she works on us all the time to take her around the house in her wagon, but we are limited on room. So, we can't wait to take her to the park this spring.

Avery celebrated her 1st birthday at Pump it Up! It was so much fun all of our family came into town and jumped on the inflatable trampoline, slides and obstacle courses. She didn't really dive into her cake but enjoyed all the presents.

Over thanksgiving weekend Avery helped put up our christmas tree and ornaments. She really liked the nativity scene but we had to teach her to be gentle since she broke one of the wise mens head off.

Happy Halloween....Avery wore her little lion costume to all of her cousin Kali's football games to cheer her on as Kali cheered. and roared on trick or treat. we actually went house to house and she smiled her cute little smile and got a nice amount of candy. Daddy was very excited.

This is a classic Avery face. She loves to do this when we say no or she doesn't want to finish her dinner, because she knows we will laugh.

Avery and my Grandma (her Great-grandma). Great-grandma passed away Oct 11, from a short battle with Gallbladder cancer. Avery brought her so many smiles and laughs. Grandma called her smiley and sweetie pie.

Avery had her first visit to the beaches of Destin, Florida the week of July 20-28. She absolutely loved the sand and the ocean. She had a whole week to visit with her cousins (who just love entertaining her and making her laugh). She enjoyed naps on the beaches in the morning and naps in her room in the afternoon. Well Avery celebrated her Half-birthday! She is 6months old. We took her to get her pictures taken for daddy and she was just ham'n it up. She was all smiles. We had a very difficult time choosing. We posted some of our favorites for you to enjoy!

We spent the entire weekend at the pool. Avery has been a champ. She loves the water and is starting to learn how to kick so she can splash me. She took a 3hr nap each day we came back from the pool so the sun and water surely did her in. She loves to sport the sunglasses with her sun hat Aunt Katina got her for Easter.

Avery LOVES walks in the Baby Bijorn. She prefers that over the stroller anyday. I think she is a little nosey and likes to see whats going on. Not sure who she gets that from :)

Avery began rolling over from back to belly the last week of April and now does belly to back too. When she gets on her belly she is so funny, because she moves her little legs as fast as she can, but doesn't go anywhere. She is also giving us great smiles and laughs all the time. She is just so much fun.
My best Friend Abby had her baby girl Ella April 21. She is just so little especially when we put her up against Avery who is on the fast track...at her 4mth check up she is in the 50% for height and weight and 20% for head. She weighed in at 14lb4oz. and 25inches long.

Easter Sunday we enjoyed church and lunch with Phil's family in Hicksville. It was too cold to wear a nice Sunday spring dress.
